   I didn't really intend to buy a bike, but at $50...

   

   Yeah... It's a store return, but it is very functional.

   Now ... to ride or to part ...

   I always wanted a BMX style with 7 speeds back in the 1980s.
   Looks as if I have parts to build one now.

   Add a freebie to the list...

   It's an 18" Kent Abyss that was destine for the trash.

   

   The crank / bottom bracket needs more work than what the bike is worth.

   Owner decided to donate it to me to use for parts.

   I've been thinking that maybe I'll order bearings, cones, and races to repair the Kent.

   The whole crankset really needs to be replaced, but I don't really know of a economical 3 pc kit. A PF30 *might* fit, but is cost prohibitive.

If you find that you can't open a new topic or reply to a current after you register, be patient.

For one reason or another I have to manually enable/approve certain handles (nick names) the server doesn't seem to like. I am not intentionally inhibiting anyones ability to share their thoughts and ideas here.

While I am open to your posting here, I am not open to unsolicited advertising or pornagraphic materal.
It is pointless to "spam" the site anyhow, as the search engines will not pick up on links from the forums. Search engines will pick up my hard coded ads though.

Anonmity

You are as anonymous as you want to be on this site provided you use the right tools, and depending on the information you share here. For example: If you post your real name, address, etc... then anonmity is impossible no matter what tools you use.

Advertise

I can code ads just about anywhere on these pages at request.
I also do local banner rotation ads on and for several other sites.
Hard coded ads that search engines will follow can be done on certain areas of this site.
